Press Release September 10, 2004

The Universal Muslim Association (UMAA) condemns the terrorist attacks that occurred in Beslan, Southern Russia that resulted in the loss of hundreds of innocent lives including many schoolchildren. We pray for the families who have suffered the loss of their beloved.

UMAA also condemns the terrorist attacks in Jakarta, Indonesia that has wounded an estimate of 182 innocent lives and killed 9 people. These attacks off terrorism are contrary to the teachings of Islam and our prayers are also with these friends and families who have lost their own.

On the eve of 3rd anniversary of September 11th our hearts and sympathy goes for all bereaved families who were affected by this tragedy. This enormous terrorist attack should be condemned forever.
