1."The Prophet (SA) stated: Marriage (Nikah) is my recommended custom. Whosoever turns away from my recommended custom is turning away from me.

When they comprehend what the women perceive, there is no remedy for them save a husband. If they are not given in marriage, they will not be secured from corruption, because they are human beings, too. (They have the same human instincts and temperament as others)." 6.The Holy Prophet [s] said: "Any young man who marries at the beginning of his youth, his devil moans and intensively regrets that he has protected two-third of his Faith from Satan." Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 103, p.221
7.The Holy Prophet [s] said: "Do not marry a woman only for her beauty since her beauty may cause her impiety; nor for her wealth because her wealth may cause her disobedience; but marry a religious woman for her Faith." Al-Muhajjat-ul-Bayda, vol. 3, p. 85
8.Imam al-Jawad [a] wrote in a letter: "Whoever solicits you in marriage and you are convinced of his religion and his honesty, then do unite with him in wedlock." AI-Kafi, vol. 5, p. 34
9.The Holy Prophet [s] said: "Marry, otherwise you will be (counted) among the Christian monks or the brothers of satan." Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 103.
10.The Holy Prophet [s] said: "There is nothing to Allah, Almighty and Glorious, more beloved than the house which is developed in Islam by marriage; and there is nothing to Allah, Almighty and Glorious, more abhorent than the house which is ruined in Islam by separation, viz, divorce." 11."Imam Ali (AS) stated: 'Engage in marriage; because this is the tradition of the Prophet (SA) of Allah."
12."Imam Sadiq (AS) stated: 'Two Rak'ats (units) of a married person's Salat (prayer) are better than seventy Rak'ats offered by a bachelor'."
13. Imam Ridha (AS) stated: 'The greatest gain for a man is a faithful woman who, when she sees him, becomes happy and protects his property and her own honor in his absence'."
14."The Prophet (SA) of Allah stated: 'A bad woman does not forgive her husband's mistakes and does not accept his apology'."
15."Imam Sajjad (AS) stated: 'One's happiness is in having pious children from whom one can seek help'."
16."Imam Ali (AS) stated: 'Associate with each other and do good. Keep away from sulking and separation'."
17."The Prophet (SA) of Allah also stated: 'Whoever falsely accuses a faithful man or woman, Allah would, on the Day of Judgment, hold him on a heap of fire so that he/she receives the punishment for his sin'."
18."Imam Sadiq (AS) stated: 'Get married but do not divorce, because a divorce would tremble the Arsh (empyrean) of Allah'."
19."Imam Sadiq (AS) also stated: 'Allah likes the house which is inhabited in the wake of marriage and dislikes the house which is abandoned in the wake of divorce. There is nothing more detestable to Allah than a divorce."
20."The Prophet (SA) of Allah stated: 'Jibrail(Gabriel) advised me about women so much that I thought one should not divorce them except if they commit adultery'." |
